Never Board Games is a game design company in the Beaverdale area of Des Moines. Tim is the lead designer and operator of the company who developed our flagship game "Old Salt", a naval strategy game that was successfully Kickstarted and fulfilled backers around the world.

After successfully going from idea to games on tables across the world, we took what we learned and created a curriculum to teach kids how to do make their own games. We called this endeavor "Little Creators Club" and ran after school clubs and library workshops around Iowa and occasionally ran game design workshops at local breweries. Our goal was to help kids take a step away from consumerism, and step towards being a creator, maker, or designer.

Our latest endeavor has been launching our new gamified fitness program that aims to help gamers pursue a physically healthy lifestyle. Tying actions and teams into fitness has helped people in the DSM metro start or continue their fitness journey with confidence.
